Pray for One Another

2 Corinthians 13:11

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of ONE MIND, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Apostle Paul writing to the church in Corinth encourage the saints to be comforted and to unite because heavens respect and agreement made on earth and furthermore when people are of one mind, chances of conflicts are too slim.  Where the is peace our Father in heaven rejoices and is glorified because peace and love are powerful weapons of righteousness.

John 17:6-11

Jesus prays for his disciples

“I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. ⁷ Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. ⁸ For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you,and they believed that you sent me. ⁹ I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.

Out of love, Jesus prayed for His disciples which is a Christian way of expressing love for brethren.  We too are encouraged to do so, Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:18 "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Nowadays servants of God are charging brethren money for praying for brethren which is not what Jesus said, child of God a prayer is free just as salvation is.

John 17:20-23

Jesus Prays for All Believers

²⁰ “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, ²¹ that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. ²² I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— ²³ I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.   

Let us grow in the knowledge of God and support each other in prayers just as the pioneer and the author of our faith.  In this prayer Jesus was praying for me and you as we have believed in Him through those who walked this path of faith before us and who by the grace of God proclaimed His everlasting love and glory unto us.  Jesus prayed for us brethren and it is by His prayers that we are still standing today, hence it is not by might and power, amen.  I also pray for you and those to whom you share these messages as the good news continue to spread through out the world.  

Acts 12:5-11

So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

⁶ The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. ⁷ Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

⁸ Then the angel said to him, “Put on your clothes and sandals.” And Peter did so. “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me,” the angel told him. ⁹ Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision. ¹⁰ They passed the first and second guards and came to the iron gate leading to the city. It opened for them by itself, and they went through it. When they had walked the length of one street, suddenly the angel left him.

¹¹ Then Peter came to himself and said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.”

Supporting one another in prayers gives God glory, I remember one day when I had a dream in which I was ministering healing to my brother's wife, as they were going through a difficult time as my brother was out of work and they could hardly make ends meet.  I got up to enquire of the Lord regarding the dream, the answer was that I must support them in prayer and I was confused because they are self confessed unbelievers.  When I started praying for themas per the instruction, God had mercy on them my brother found a job where he was required to work together with his wife.  So God will have mercy on someone because of your prayers and take note: people whom you pray for do not have to know that you do, even today they still don't believe in God and they think their breakthrough was out of their efforts and wisdom. But I glorified God with the testimony and I believe God did it well knowing they will not glorify Him though but I would.

When Peter was in prison, he was not in a position to pray, he was awaiting a moment when he would be put to death and he was sure he time had come.  Peter had made peace within himself that he is no longer going to be counted with the living after the day to come, he had been put under maximum security on that night, John the baptist and James had been killed in the same way.  The brethren not in his position, they prayed without rest and their prayers provoked the mercy of God Almighty, He sent and angel to come for Peter's rescue.  " I declare that today the Lord God of Heavens Armies rend heavens and come to your rescue in the name of Jesus Christ."

Instruction

1. Purify yourself before the Lord(Psalm 51)

2. Repent 

3. Give your life to Christ

Declaration:

I declare that in your current situation someone out there will start praying for you, in Jesus' name.

I declare deep sleep for all your enemies placed on guard for your life, in Jesus Christ's name.

I declare that right now an angel of God has left heavens to come to your rescue, in Jesus' name.

I declare that chains binding you in that cell be broken by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.

I declare that shackles on your wrists and ankles be broken by the presence of the angel of God, in Jesus Christ's name. 

I declare that not later than today, the angel of God will lead you out of that situation, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I declare by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ, that all those spending their nights watching you suffer shall be in deep sleep as you walk out of that situation, in Jesus' Mighty name.

I declare that the iron gate leading to your freedom shall open by itself by fire, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I declare a miraculous breakthrough out of your situation today that will even surprise you, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I declare that everyone around you will soon realise that the Lord of Elijah has come to your rescue today, in Jesus Christ Mighty name.

Amen
